Day 28 Sunday in Denver
All of the cyclists biked over to Englewood HS where today's Celebration Service took place. We just drove there from our hotel, wanting to save our legs for the new week.
The service was held outdoors using the school football field and bleachers. There were lots of people there today as the CRC/RCA community is quite large here in Denver. The speaker was Rev Gerry Dykstra who is the exec dir of the CRCNA. He will also be cycling the last two weeks of the tour. He preached from Job 5.
The Denverites hosted us for lunch at the school afterwards. Sloppy Joes, water melon, chips etc. It was cooking hot out today. The rest of the afternoon we relaxed by the hotel pool. We will start to make our way out of Colorado tomorrow AM. Nebraska is next, but we won't be there until Tuesday. Wednesday will mark our 1/2 way point time wise. Monday is when the 14 or so new cyclists start, and of course yesterday was the last day for about the same number of people.

Hi Randy,
Was looking for a lunch partner last week. Forgot that you where glued to your bike seat this summer! Reading your blog it looks like you are hanging in there. I don't know if my behind will hold up for that long.
Our family spent last weekend 4 days in Whistler with Jody and het kids doing up/down hill on our mountain bikes. Don't know how long I can keep up with the jumps they are doing before I injury myself.
Today the end of the Tour de France but your tour continues for a few more weeks. Enjoy the ride and the seat talk to you when you are back in the Wack.
