Day 7 Sunday in Kennewick
Breakfast is at 8:30 today as we get a day off from cycling.
The Family of Faith CRC of Kennewick has organized and moved their church service to the Columbia East Park. There is a good amphitheatre here for that. They also hosted us for lunch here at the park.
The Kennewick church printed out cyclist's profiles and pictures some time ago and the members received certain people then to pray for. If you watched the Amazing Race ever, you might recall when they have to match a picture with a person or object. Well, I had a fellow named Greg come up to me holding a card beside me. Turns out I've been hanging on their fridge for sometime. He asked me to sign his card and we talked for a bit. It's great that people you don't even know are praying for you specifically.
This afternoon I will relax, while some are floating down the Columbia River, or going to some people's pool. The Kennewick people had a boat here too so some people could do some water sports as well.
Sunday is a little odd not having Shelley and or my sons around and there's a little too much time to think about that. It'll be good to be on the road again tomorrow.
